Accessibility

Last reviewed June 11, 2026

Frontline care teams include people with disabilities, and an Ontario product has obligations under the AODA. Accessibility is part of how CarePath247 is built, not a retrofit.

Our standard

We design and test the platform and this website against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, in line with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards.

What that looks like in the product

  • Full keyboard operability — every form, review queue, and menu works without a mouse.
  • Semantic structure and labels that screen readers can navigate.
  • Colour contrast that meets AA in both light and dark themes, with meaning never carried by colour alone.
  • Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled for users who request it in their system settings.
  • Readable typography and touch targets sized for real shift work on phones and tablets.

Feedback and support

If anything in CarePath247 is hard to use with assistive technology — or you need this information in an alternate format — email hello@carepath247.com with “Accessibility” in the subject. We acknowledge accessibility feedback quickly and treat fixes as defects, not feature requests.
