Group homes and foster care agencies run on documentation — and too many still run it on binders, spreadsheets, and memory. CarePath247 was built to change that without adding a single minute to a frontline worker's shift.
Why we exist
When a child’s placement is reviewed, a licence is renewed, or a serious occurrence is investigated, the record is the agency’s voice. We believe that record should be complete, signed, on time, and impossible to lose — and that getting there should be the easy path, not the heroic one. Every design decision in CarePath247 starts from the same question: does this protect the child, the staff member, and the agency at the same time?
Who we are
CarePath247 is a product of Paqads Consulting Inc., an Ontario, Canada company, which operates the platform under licence from its parent holding company. We build for the regulatory reality our customers live in: CYFSA licensing, ministry serious-occurrence reporting, PHIPA-aligned privacy, AODA accessibility, and Canadian data residency.
How we build
With operators, not for them. The platform grows through founding partnerships with real agencies — their daily logs, their review workflows, their audits shape what we ship. That is why the system covers the unglamorous things that actually decide inspections: staff-on-shift signatures, locked records with tracked amendments, ministry clocks, and an audit trail that never forgets.
What we care about
- Children first: documentation should make care safer, not just provable.
- Frontline dignity: software that respects a 3 a.m. overnight shift.
- Audit-ready by default: if it happened, it’s signed, timestamped, and findable.
- Data sovereignty: Canadian children’s records stay in Canada.
